Jeep Comanche Throttle Body

The Throttle Body in Jeep Comanche is so vital since it controls the flow rate of fresh air into the engines which is of great importance in the fuel-injected vehicle. Located between the air cleaner and intake manifold it provides butterfly valve which changes depending on the accelerator pedal. When the pedal is pressed, the valve is opened thus allowing in more air and at the same time sensors relay to the PCM to open up fuel. Jeep Comanche models have been equipped with Throttle Body Injection (TBI) as well as with progressive multi-port fuel injection. TBI is a rudimentary systems that has injectors with the throttle body while new creations of fuel injection separate fuel management from the throttle body and such parts as IAC valve and TPS. The shift from mechanical throttle to ETC improves vehicle performance and safety because mechanical connection is removed and ETC can interact with electronic stability systems.
