A: Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Remove the engine cover. Detach the air intake duct or resonator from the throttle body. Disconnect the throttle body electrical connector. Remove the throttle body support bracket mounting bolt. Remove the throttle body mounting fasteners in reverse order of the tightening sequence and detach the throttle body from the intake manifold. Remove the throttle body gasket and inspect it for cracks, tears, and deterioration. If it isn't in perfect condition, replace it. Make sure that the gasket mating surfaces of the throttle body and the intake manifold are clean. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the throttle body bolts in sequence to the torque. Caution: Do not overtighten the bolts - it can cause damage to the throttle body, the gaskets, the bolts, and/or the intake manifold.
