- Q: How to replace the Headlight Bulb on Jeep Wrangler?A:For the models manufactured from 1987 to 1995, you will have to unplug the electrical connector of the Headlight using the screwdriver then you will have to undo four screws that are available at the back of the headlight then lift the headlight bezel. Then loosen the retainer screws but do not take out the adjusting screws, pull out the retainer and lower the headlight from the hole. Insert a new headlight and apply a retainer and screws, and tighten it in order to secure the headlight properly and cover it with a bezel that need to be also screwed to the body. Last of all turn on the electrical connector and reattach the battery cable. For the models produced between 1997 and 2006, beginning with the removal of the head light bezel screws to get rid of the bezel, next, remove the screws of the headlight retaining ring and finally get rid of the retaining ring. For 2006 and earlier models, remove the headlight and detach the electrical connector and the installation procedure is the reverse of the removal process. To start with the 2007 and later models, one has to initially take off the radiator grille, the second step would be detaching the screws of the headlight retainer, the headlight housing to be then taken off and finally disconnecting the electrical connector.
