    Ensure that the mounting surface inside the steering knuckle and on the driveaxle splines is smooth. Lubricate the driveaxle splines with multi-purpose grease and install the hub/bearing assembly onto the driveaxle and into the steering knuckle. Securely seat the assembly against the steering knuckle by tightening the hub/bearing assembly-to-steering knuckle bolts in a criss-cross pattern. Install the driveaxle/hub nut, brake disc, caliper mounting bracket, and caliper. Then, install the wheel and lug nuts, lower the vehicle, and tighten the driveaxle/hub nut and lug nuts.

    Continue by removing the stabilizer bar retainer bolts and the retainer washer (if equipped) from the wheel stud. Remove the brake disc. Mark the position of the camber cam. Remove the balljoint pinch bolt and nut, as well as the steering knuckle-to-strut bolts and nuts.
