For the left mount, Disconnect the negative battery cable. Raise the vehicle and remove the throttle body air inlet tube and air filter housing. Support the transaxle and raise it to relieve weight from the mount. Remove the mount-to-transaxle and mount-to-body bolts. Replace the mount and tighten the bolts to the specified torque. Installation follows the reverse order.

There are four powertrain mounts, the front mount connects the transaxle to the crossmember. The left mount secures the driver's side of the engine to the subframe. The right engine mount attaches the engine block to the passenger's side of the subframe. The rear mount links the engine block to the subframe.

The mounts should be inspected for cracks, hardened rubber, or separation from the metal backing. Additionally, any relative movement between the mount plates and the engine or frame should be checked.

To replace the right mount, remove the coolant reservoir, raise the vehicle, and remove the under-vehicle splash shield. Move the heater tube out of the way, then remove the engine mount bracket-to-timing cover support bolts and the engine mount bracket-to-mount bolts. Support the engine, remove the engine mount-to-body bolts, and the body-to-mount bolts from underneath. Replace the engine mount, tighten the body-to-mount bolts, lower the engine, and tighten the mount-to-bracket bolts. The installation follows the reverse order.

For the left mount, disconnect the negative battery cable, raise the vehicle, remove the middle engine splash shield and air filter housing, support the transaxle, and then remove the mounting bolts to replace the mount. Ensure to tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
