    Q:
How to remove and install a iftgate wiper motor on Dodge Daytona? Posted by Customer
    A:
As a way of removing the wiper motor, unfasten the negative cable of the battery and allow it to be set aside and well away from the battery negative terminal. Next, pop the liftgate open and unscrew the two trim cover screws; it is possible for one of them to be missing on some car models, but do not worry as that is an ordinary occurrence; after that, remove prying each of the plastic pins and then using a screwdriver to take off the cover. Detach wiper arm by pulling its release tab with the help of a flat screwdriver and disconnect the connector taking out its clip. Subsequently, discard two wiper motor mounting bolts and then pull out the wiper motor with the help of lift gate. Remove the motor from the mounting plate and then switch the plate to the new motor. For installation which should be done carefully for safety purpose, place the motor and fix the bolts well and tightly then connect the wires and make the connector tight. Lastly screw the trim panel back and using your hand drive the retaining pin into the hole and working along the longeron to provide all pins, the last ones the screws from the plastic clips.

    Q:
How to Remove and Install a Wiper Motor on Dodge Ramcharger? Posted by Customer
    A:
Disconnect the fusible link beneath the hood or detach the battery ground cable. Disconnect the wiper motor wires, then remove the motor mounting screws. Lower the motor far enough to gain access to the crank arm-to-drive link retainer bushing. Remove the crank arm from the drive link by prying the retainer bushing from the crank arm pin with a large screwdriver. Remove the motor, then remove the nut to detach the crank arm from the motor drive shaft. Hold the motor assembly in a vise and remove the housing through-bolts. Remove the housing and armature assembly and take the flat and spring washers off the armature shaft. Examine the parts for wear and damage. Replace parts as necessary. To assemble the motor, install the brushes in their respective slots and retain them by locking the brush lead wires into the notches at the rear of the slots. Clean the commutator using an ink eraser, then install the flat spring, and flat washers on the armature shaft. Install the armature in the bearing while rotating it counter-clockwise to mate the shaft gear with the intermediate gear. Release all the brush wires from the notches and make sure that the springs are exerting tension on them. Align the window in the motor housing with the brush holder and install it quickly over the armature so the magnets in the motor housing don't pull the armature out of the brush housing. Install the through-bolts and washers, and tighten them. Installation of the motor is basically the reverse of the removal procedure. The crank arm pin snaps into the drive link retainer to hold it in place.
