Detach the cable from the negative battery terminal, remove the DIS coil pack fasteners and swing it out of the way to gain access to the fuel pressure dampener, disconnect the fuel hose quick-connect fitting from the fuel return tube, unplug the electrical connector from the coolant temperature sensor, and remove the screw from the fuel rail retainer bracket.
