    Q:
How do you remove the Starter Motor for the 2008 Dodge Avenger? Posted by Customer
    A:
Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery or remote ground terminal. For the 2.4L engine (2014 and earlier), remove the air filter housing and duct, then disconnect the throttle body electrical connector and remove the throttle body. Remove the starter mounting bolts, push the starter under the intake manifold, and pull it up to access the electrical connections. Disconnect the starter wiring and remove the starter. For the 2.7L and 3.5L V6 engines, raise the front of the vehicle and support it on jackstands. Support the engine with an engine support fixture or floor jack. Remove the engine splash shield, engine mount, crossmember, and other necessary components for access. Disconnect the starter wiring and remove the starter from the vehicle. For the 3.6L V6 engine, raise the front of the vehicle and remove the catalytic converter. Remove the engine mount, disconnect the starter wiring, and remove the starter assembly. For the 2.4L engine (2015 and later), remove the fuse box/PDC and battery tray. Release the fuse box wiring harness clips and loosen the starter upper mounting bolt. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it on jackstands. Remove the driveaxle, disconnect the battery positive cable from the starter motor, and remove the starter from the transaxle. Disconnect the starter solenoid electrical connector and guide the starter out from under the vehicle.

    Q:
What is the installation process for the Starter Motor in the 2007 Chrysler Sebring? Posted by Customer
    A:
Installation is the reverse of removal, tightening the starter motor mounting bolts to the torque.

    Q:
What could be the issue if the Starter Motor cranks the engine at a slow speed for the 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan? Posted by Customer
    A:
Ensure the battery is fully charged and all terminal connections are tight. If the engine is partially seized or has the wrong viscosity oil, it may crank slowly. Additionally, connect a voltmeter positive lead to the positive battery post and the negative lead to the negative post. Crank the engine and take voltmeter readings as soon as a steady figure is indicated. A reading of 9 volts or more, with the starter motor turning at normal cranking speed, is normal.
