    How to Replace a Blower Motor on Dodge Nitro? Posted by Customer

    Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Disconnect the blower motor connector. Release locking tab, then rotate and remove the motor from the housing. Detach the fan retainer clip from the motor shaft. Slip the fan off the old motor shaft, mount it on the new motor and install the retainer clip. Place the blower motor in position, and rotate it, making sure all of the locking tabs are in their slots. Reconnect the electrical connector and battery cable. Test the motor operation and make sure the air seal around the motor is not leaking.

    Place the blower motor in position, and rotate it, making sure all of the locking tabs are in their slots.

    Connect a jumper wire between the motor ground terminal and a good chassis ground, as well as a fused jumper wire between the battery positive terminal and the positive terminal on the motor side of the connector.
