- A:To raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands, remove the nuts from the sway bar kit link and separate it from the bar. Then, remove the sway bar kit bracket fasteners and brackets. Take out the sway bar kit and remove the sway bar bushings from it. Inspect all sway bar bushings for wear and damage, replacing any that are cracked, torn, or deteriorated. For installation, reverse the removal steps, ensuring all fasteners are tightened to the correct torque.
