Compare the measurements to the specified resistance values and replace the ignition coil unit if necessary. To replace the coil, remove the air filter housing and outlet hose. Mark the spark plug wires for proper firing order and remove them from the ignition coil. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the coil pack mounting bolts. Finally, remove the coil from the engine compartment and install the new coil in reverse order.
