- A:Disengage the clips on each side of the glove box, then pull the sides inwards until the stops are clear and lower the glove box. Disengage the two retaining tabs at the front edge of each cover and open the covers. On some models with two filters, the right side cover door may be obstructed by the speaker housing, if so, remove the left filter then slide the right cabin air filter to the left and remove it. Remove the filters from the housing. Install the filter, making sure the arrow on the filter is pointing towards the floor. The cabin air filter(s) is labeled with an arrow and the word "Airflow" on it. The filter should be installed with the arrow pointing towards the floor.
