The hub and bearing assembly is sealed-for-life and must be replaced as a unit if worn or damaged. To remove it, start by loosening the wheel lug nuts and raising the vehicle on jackstands. Remove the wheel, brake disc, and disconnect the wheel speed sensor. From the back side of the steering knuckle, remove the hub retaining bolts and the hub from the steering knuckle. If the hub is stuck to the driveaxle on 4WD models, use a two-jaw puller to remove it. To install the new assembly, clean the mating surfaces on the steering knuckle, bearing flange, and knuckle bore. Position the disc shield, insert the hub and bearing assembly into the steering knuckle, and install the bolts. Tighten them to the specified torque. For 4WD models, tighten the driveaxle/hub nut to the torque. Finally, tighten the brake caliper mounting bracket and brake caliper mounting bolts to the torque, install the wheel, lower the vehicle, and tighten the lug nuts to the torque.
