    How to Remove and Install the Fuel Level Sensor and Fuel Pump on the Dodge Neon? Posted by Customer

    Depress the connector tab and remove the fuel pump/Fuel Level Sensor electrical connector. Use a terminal remover tool to remove the terminals. Depress the tab and slide the Fuel Level Sensor out. Place the electrical leads in the groove and slide it up until it snaps into place. Push the Sensor wires up until they lock into place. Install the locking wedge and push the connector back up. Finally, install the fuel pump/Fuel Level Sensor assembly.

    Depress the connector retaining tab and remove the fuel pump/fuel level sending unit electrical connector from the underside of the fuel pump module electrical connector. Remove the wedge lock from the electrical connector and use a special terminal remover tool or a suitable similar tool to remove the terminals from the fuel level sending unit connector. Depress the tab and slide the fuel level sending unit toward the bottom of the fuel pump module, then slide it out of the channel in the fuel pump module.
