Mopar 5101795AA Fuel Pump Module Assembly

To remove the fuel pump/fuel level sensor module from the fuel tank, depress the connector retaining tab and remove the fuel pump/fuel level sensor electrical connector from the underside of the fuel pump module electrical connector. Remove the wedge lock from the electrical connector and use a special terminal remover tool or a suitable similar tool to remove the terminals from the fuel level sensor connector. Depress the tab and slide the fuel level sensor toward the bottom of the fuel pump module, then slide it out of the channel in the fuel pump module. To install, place the electrical leads in the groove in the back of the fuel level sensor and slide it up the channel until it snaps into place, ensuring that the tab at the bottom locks into place. Push the sensor wires up through the connector until they lock into place, making sure the signal and ground wires are in the correct position. Install the locking wedge in the connector and push the connector back up into the underside of the fuel pump module electrical connector. Finally, install the fuel pump/fuel level sensor assembly.

Separate the two components.

Place the electrical leads in the groove in the back of the fuel level sending unit and slide it up the channel until it snaps into place, ensuring that the tab at the bottom locks into place. Push the sending unit wires up through the connector until they lock into place, making sure the signal and ground wires are in the correct position. Install the locking wedge in the connector and push the connector back up into the underside of the fuel pump module electrical connector. Finally, install the fuel pump/fuel level sending unit assembly.
