- Q:How do you remove and install the auxiliary battery for the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee? Posted by Customer
- A:Gain access to the battery, unplug the electrical connector from the Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS) if equipped, and disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the main battery and the auxiliary battery. Disconnect the cable from the positive terminal of the auxiliary battery and the vent hose from both batteries. Remove the nut from the auxiliary battery hold-down strap and lift the battery from the tray. Installation is the reverse of removal.Posted by MoparPartsGiant Specialist
