How to remove and install an axle shaft on 1990 Dodge Ramcharger?

Dismantle the four axleshaft flange nuts and lock washers and then give the axleshaft a firm whack in the centre of the flange using a hammer so that the tapered dowels get loosened. Subsequently, take out the dowels and pull out the axleshaft out as well in Nanaimo. Once installing the axleshaft, be sure to remove all the deposits on the gasket sealing area and fit a new gasket on the flange before filing the axleshaft into the housing. Lastly, fit in the tapered dowels and then the lock washers and nuts and finally the nuts should be tightened to the respective torque.
