  A: To pull out or to replace the front axleshaft on a 44-8FD axle, firstly, lift the car and use the jack stands to support it in the right manner, and all the four tires of the car must be off the ground. Depress the brake calipers and pull the front wheel with the tire off; hang the brake caliper with wire on the side. Next remove six nuts that are connecting the splash shield and the spindle to the knuckle and the brake caliper adapter.
