Q: Where is the Knock Sensor Located on Chrysler 300?
A: The knock sensor for V6 engines is on top of the block, underneath the lower intake manifold. To remove it, remove the upper and lower intake manifolds. For V8 engines, there are two knock sensors on the left and right sides of the block below the exhaust manifold. To remove them, raise the vehicle and secure it on jackstands. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the mounting bolt. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
