Dodge Dakota Battery Sensor Parts Questions & Answers

  • Q: Where is the Battery Temperature Sensor Located on Dodge Dakota?
    A: The battery temperature sensor, if equipped, is under the battery, in the battery tray. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Remove the battery. Disengage the battery temperature sensor from the battery tray by squeezing the two locking tangs together and pulling it straight up through its mounting hole in the tray. Disconnect the electrical connector from the battery temperature sensor and remove the sensor. To reinstall, switch the removal steps going from the last step to the first step.
