How to disconnect and remove the air conditioning and heater control assembly on Dodge Durango?

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. FRONT, remove the center trim bezel. Pull the bezel forward and disconnect the electrical connectors. Remove the mounting screws and detach the A/C Switch. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure. REAR (DURANGO ONLY) Note: The manufacturer states that a scan tool is necessary to calibrate the rear A/C Switch. If you are replacing the switch, you may have to drive the vehicle to a dealership to have the assembly calibrated after it is installed. Gently pull the top of the switch out from the back of the center console to release it. Once released, disconnect the electrical connector in the rear and remove the assembly. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
