The fuel pump is inside the fuel tank and should be activated by turning on the ignition key. If it does not, check the fuse, relay and wiring for the fuel pump. If these are okay, it might be a bad pump. Check for fuel pressure by relieving system pressure, connecting a gauge to the test port on the
Fuel Rail, and starting the engine. If there is no pressure, look for restrictions in your fuel system. Replace the pump if necessary. If pressure is too high, replace pump as well as fuel gauge sending unit assembly.
