How to remove the A/C Compressor on Dodge Magnum?

The receiver-drier should be replaced whenever the compressor is replaced due to an internal failure. Have the air conditioning system discharged by an automotive air conditioning technician. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Remove the air filter housing. Remove the drivebelt. Also, removing the power steering pump and positioning it aside will make access to the compressor easier. Disconnect the compressor clutch electrical connector. Disconnect the refrigerant lines from the compressor. Plug the open fittings to prevent entry of dirt and moisture and discard the 0-ring seals.
