The turn signal and the hazard flasher knob is a single combination unit and if it is working fine, it makes a clicking sound. If further one turn signal fails and the clicker does not click or if while making regular turn signals, one of the bulbs flashes much faster while the other does not light at all, very high probability the turn signal bulbs are at fault. That is why if both of the turn signals do not blink, it may be a
Fuse, a flasher unit, a turn signal switch or some other turn signal related part that is bad. One can get to the fuse box and discover a problem; a bad turn signal fuse should be checked for a short before replacing it. To remove the flasher, the upper steering column cover must be removed, then the electrical connector should be disconnected and the flasher unit should be pulled out of the mounting bracket which is on the top of the steering column behind the multi-function switch. Make sure that the taking out unit is a perfect match of the unit being replaced prior to installation as is the process in the reverse order of removal.
