If caliper replacement is needed, consider all options. New and rebuilt calipers are available for exchange. Always replace in pairs. To remove, drain fluid from the reservoir, loosen lug nuts, raise the vehicle, and remove wheels. Push piston back into caliper bore. Disconnect brake hose, remove banjo bolt, and catch any fluid. Unscrew mounting bolts and detach caliper. For installation, inspect and replace mounting bolts if needed, clean, lubricate, and tighten them. Install brake hose and banjo bolt with new washers, and tighten. Bleed brakes, install wheels, lower vehicle. Depress brake pedal to align pads with disc, and check operation before driving.
