Remove the rocker arm cover, bolts, arms, bridges, fulcrums, and pushrods, storing each separately. You can inspect each component for wear, cracks, and damage. Make sure the oil hole in each rocker arm is open. Check pushrods for bends. Lubricate and reinstall each pushrod, and bring the number one piston to the top dead center on the compression stroke. Grease the valve stems, pushrod ends, and fulcrums. Reinstall the arms, fulcrums, bridges, and bolts. Tighten bolts to the specified torque.
