    For all these engines, this procedure is essentially the same. Take out the bolt to have the transmission mount disconnected from the chassis; the nut can be reached from behind the wheel assembly. Also, loosen and take off the bolt for the separation of FE mounting from the block and also need the starter to be taken off.

    Remove the load on the engine mounts by carefully supporting the engine and transaxle assembly with a floor jack. Loosen the right insulator vertical fasteners and the front engine mount bracket-to-front crossmember bolts and nuts. The left engine mount insulator is sleeved over the shaft and long support bolt to provide lateral movement adjustment. Pry the engine right or left as required to achieve the proper driveaxle length. Securely tighten the right engine mount insulator vertical bolts, the front engine mount bolts and nuts, and center the left engine mount insulator. Finally, recheck the driveaxle length.
