For Hemi engines, there are two knock sensors located on the left and right sides of the block below the exhaust manifold. To replace them, raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on jackstands. Disconnect the electrical connector from the knock sensor and remove the mounting bolt. Installation is the reverse of removal, making sure to tighten the mounting bolts to the correct torque.
