- A:On 3.7L V6 and 4.7L V8 engines, the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is located on the left side of the intake manifold. On Hemi engines, the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is located at the right front corner of the air resonator box. To disconnect the electrical connector from the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor, depress the tab and pull off the connector. To remove the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor, lift up the release tab slightly, then turn the sensor 1/4-turn counterclockwise and pull it out. Be sure to remove the old O-ring from the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor and inspect it for damage. If the O-ring is damaged, replace it. To install the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor, insert it into its mounting hole and rotate it clockwise 1/4-turn, making sure the release tab locks the sensor into place.
