    The MAP sensor is on the intake manifold of all engines. To remove the MAP sensor, disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery and then disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor. Slide the red lock to the right, depress the release tabs, and disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the sensor retaining screws and take out the sensor. To install, reverse the removal process.

Disconnect the electrical connector, rotate the sensor 1/4-turn counterclockwise and remove it. Inspect the 0-ring and replace if necessary. To install, place it in position, insert it into the mounting hole and turn it 1/4-turn clockwise. Reverse the removal steps to complete installation.
