    Loosen and remove the oil control valves, then carefully slide the intake and exhaust phasers off the camshafts while keeping the phaser lock in place. Rotate both camshafts counterclockwise to a neutral position, loosen the camshaft bearing cap bolts in reverse order, and remove the caps to lift the camshafts out.
