    To replace the alternator in a vehicle with a 2.7L V6 engine: Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the drive belt. Disconnect the battery cable from the B+ output terminal and the field wire electrical connector. Remove the upper mounting bolt and two lower mounting bolts to take out the alternator. Installation is the reverse of removal. After installation, check the charging voltage to ensure the alternator is operating correctly.
