Loosen the rear wheel lug nuts. Raise the back of the car and be sure that it is safely held with jackstands. Take off the wheel. Take out the upper control arm-to-trailing link fasteners and upper control arm-to-cross-member fasteners. Remove the upper control arm. Reverse of removal is installation. Use a floor jack positioned under the outer end of the lower control arm to raise the rear suspension to simulate normal ride height, and then tighten up mounting fasteners to torque. Install the wheel and lug nuts. Lower the vehicle and tighten the lug nuts until they are tight enough.
