    Ensure that the mounting surface inside the steering knuckle and on the driveaxle splines is smooth. Lubricate the driveaxle splines with multi-purpose grease and install the hub/bearing assembly onto the driveaxle and into the steering knuckle. Securely seat the assembly against the steering knuckle by tightening the hub/bearing assembly-to-steering knuckle bolts in a criss-cross pattern. Install the driveaxle/hub nut, brake disc, caliper mounting bracket, and caliper. Then, install the wheel and lug nuts, lower the vehicle, and tighten the driveaxle/hub nut and lug nuts.

Remove the cotter pin and nut, and use a puller to disconnect the tie-rod end from the steering knuckle. Secure the tie-rod aside with wire. Then, disconnect the brake hose bracket from the strut, remove the caliper and brake pads, and detach the caliper mounting bracket from the steering knuckle. Hang the caliper out of the way with wire.
