- A:To remove and install the coils, remove the air intake duct and resonator box for the 3.7L V6 and 4.7L V8 engines. For the HEMI engine, remove the air intake duct and resonator box for cylinders 2, 4, 6, and/or 8. Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the coil mounting bolts, and carefully pull the coil up to disengage the rubber spark plug boots. Inspect the condition of the rubber spark plug boots and replace if necessary. Installation is the reverse of removal.Posted by MoparPartsGiant Specialist
