Have an auto air conditioning expert flush the system, then take off the cable connected to the car battery's negative terminal. First, take out the system's air filter housing, and disconnect all refrigerant tubes from the accumulator. Protect your system from dirt and water by closing its open outlets before taking out the accumulator and bracket. When you put on a new accumulator, pour 2 ounce (60 ml) of fresh oil that works with coolants R-134a into it. During reassembly, fresh R-134a matching O-rings must go back into each connector joint. Go back to the shop where they discharged your car and let them refill and check your air conditioner for leaks.
