    Remove the sliding door trim panel, disconnect the external cable, remove the foam insulation block, take out the inside latch handle, release the clip holding the inside door handle bellcrank link, and remove the bolts securing the latch/lock control to the sliding door.

    Release the clip holding the lock cylinder in the outside handle, pull it out, install the new lock cylinder retaining clip, position the link arm, and push the lock cylinder back into place.
