The electric side-view mirrors are adjustable using a driver's side switch on the left door trim panel, allowing for both up-and-down and left-to-right adjustments. Models with factory-installed dual power mirrors feature a heater grid behind the mirror glass to remove fog, ice, or snow, with the heater grid integrated into each mirror. If a heater grid malfunctions, the mirror requires replacement. The heater grid switches and the heated mirror system indicator light are part of the heater/air conditioning control panel on the dashboard, and if any of these components fail, the heater/air conditioning control assembly should be replaced. The heated mirror relay is located in one of the fuse and relay boxes. The power mirror control switch includes a LEFT-RIGHT selector switch to adjust either side-view mirror. With the ignition in the ACC position, operate the mirror control switch through all functions for both mirrors while listening for the electric motors' sound within the mirrors. If the motors are audible but the mirror glass remains stationary, a defective drive mechanism necessitates mirror replacement. If the mirrors don't operate, check the fuse. If the fuse is intact, proceed to inspect the mirror control switch's voltage, continuity, and ground connections. To remove the inside mirror, begin by removing the set screw. Then, slide the mirror up off the support base on the windshield. If you have a model with optional automatic day/night mirrors, disconnect the electrical connector.
