    A: Remove the crankshaft pulley and the timing belt. Use a two-bolt puller to take off the crankshaft sprocket, threading the bolts into the holes in the sprocket. With a hammer and punch, tap the dowel pin out of the crankshaft, driving it into the hollow, threaded area of the crankshaft snout for extraction with a small magnet. Pry out the old seal with a hook-type seal tool, taking care not to scratch the crankshaft's seal surface, and note the installation depth and orientation for the new seal. Lubricate the inner lip of the new seal with engine oil and drive it in using a seal driver or a large deep socket and a hammer, ensuring it is installed to the same depth as the old one. Finally, installation is the reverse of removal, tapping the dowel pin back into the crankshaft with 3/64-inch extending out.
