The procedure is applicable to shifters mounted to the dashboard. Starting with the gauge panel bezel, then followed by the steering column covers to be eliminated. Then, release the electrical connector of the shift lever and remove the Torx screw which is used to fix the shift lever on the shift lever assembly. Last, pause, extract the shift lever through the trim panel and then, installation is basically the reverse of installation.
