How to Service a Fuel Level Sensor on Dodge Avenger?

To work on 2014 and earlier models, you need to take out the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, and Fuel Level Sensor all at once. To disconnect the Fuel Level Sensor power connection, squeeze the small tab on the bottom of the fuel pump module and pull the wire plug out. Be cautious not to touch the parts on top when you do this. To remove the Fuel Level Sensor, release its snap tab to the left as you press on the bottom of the unit and pull upward gently. Pull out old terminals on the Fuel Level Sensor with a narrow terminal tool, then put the new unit's terminals in precisely the right spots inside the connector's body. Finish everything by undoing what you did during removal.
