If one is replacing front park/turn signal light bulbs on models with HID
Headlights, it must be so with the headlight housing removed due to risks of electrocution and this is for 2014 and earlier models since 2015 and later ones uses LED bulbs that come preassembled and is replaced as a whole. For bulb replacement if space is limited, removal of the headlight may be necessary. To replace the left front park/turn signal bulb first you will have to remove the air filter housing then to disconnect the electrical connector you will have to slide the red lock and pull of the connector. Third, unscrew the bulb holder anti-clockwise and then expel the bulb linearly before inserting a new one in place till it clicks into position. As for the inner and outer front parking light bulbs, similar procedure is used, with similar steps to get to the bulb holder. As with the rear sidemarker lights, front sidemarker lights of 2010 and earlier models can be accessed with the bulb from underneath the car, or the headlight housing can be remove to give access to the electrical connector and holder. To change fog light bulb one has to lift the car, and then the front engine splash, then the electrical connector and finally the bulb holder has to be unscrewed anti-clockwise. The center high-mounted stop light assembly is an LED type and it cannot have individual bulbs replaced; the whole assembly requires the electrical connector to be disconnected coupling with the unscrewing of the mounting screws. Opening of taillight bulbs involves getting at the trunk, unscrewing the fastener which is over the carpeting, disconnecting the electrical connector and finally withdrawing the retainers of the taillight assembly to pull out the housing. In licensing plate light bulb replacement some of the procedures that are followed includes removing the revealing screws of the bulb, detaching the bulb and fixing a new one. This may involve prying of the lens of a trunk interior light or reading light to get an access to electrical connectors to remove them from the bulbs or even to push in new bulbs by pulling them straight out. To replace the vanity light bulbs, one has to take off the lens and unscrew the bulb from the contacts, the same procedure applies to the light bulbs of the door courtesy and the rear reading lights.
