How to Remove the Air Cleaner Housing on Jeep Compass?

Unlock the retainers and rotate them, then lift the duct up and pull it out. Disconnect the electrical connector and air intake hose, loosen the clamp and disconnect the harness. Remove the filter box support bracket and by-pass hose. Pull the box upwards to disengage the pins. Inspect the grommets and replace if damaged. Installation is reverse of removal.
