    Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector from the CMP sensor. Remove the CMP sensor mounting bolt and take out the CMP sensor. If you're reinstalling the old CMP sensor, scrape off the old spacer and install a new paper spacer. If you're installing a new CMP sensor, it will come with a new paper spacer.
