    First of all, to remove the front hub bearing cap and related parts, loosen the axle nut with brakes applied, then lift the vehicle and remove the front wheel, axle nut, and washer. Remove the speedometer gear before the right axle. Detach the steering knuckle from the ball joint and separate the axle shaft from the hub. Remove the axle shaft from the differential. If the vehicle needs to be moved, secure the bearings with a bolt and nuts. To reinstall, clean and grease the CV joint and seal, insert the axle shaft into the transaxle, and reattach the ball joint to the steering knuckle.
