    How to remove and install a shock absorber in a front strut on Chrysler Imperial? Posted by Customer
    A:
    Loosen lug nuts, raise vehicle and remove front wheels. Disconnect air line and electrical connectors if equipped with air suspension. Mark camber cam position, remove strut-to-knuckle nuts, bolts, cam and washer plate. Disconnect brake hose bracket, remove upper mounting nuts and detach strut. Inspect for damage. If damaged, reposition strut, tighten nuts, reattach to knuckle and insert bolts. Attach brake hose bracket, install C-clamp on strut and knuckle. Align marks on cam and strut, tighten bolts and nuts. Reattach air line if necessary, recharge air spring before lowering vehicle. Reinstall wheels and lower vehicle.
