- A:The V6 models have Air Ducts and air filter boxes that are similar to those used on the 3.SL models. To remove the Air Duct, disconnect the electrical connector from the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor, loosen the hose clamp screws, and pull firmly on the duct to release it from the studs. Inspect the duct for any damage and replace it if necessary. To remove the air filter box, disconnect the Air Duct and the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) fresh air inlet hose, remove the housing retaining bolt, and lift the box straight up. Inspect the rubber insulator covering the locator pin and replace it if damaged. For V8 models, the process is similar, but there are two locator pins and additional steps to disconnect the PCV fresh air inlet hose and inspect the rubber insulators.Posted by MoparPartsGiant Specialist
