- A:The grid-type antenna is bonded to and is an integral component of the rear window glass. If the antenna is faulty the rear glass must be replaced. This is a job best left to a professional. The antenna module is mounted on the inside of the right C-pillar on sedans. Remove the right upper C-pillar trim. Disconnect the two antenna module electrical connectors from the antenna grid and disconnect the antenna coaxial cable and electrical connector from the module. Remove the antenna module mounting bolt and remove the module. Installation is the reverse of removal. The antenna module is mounted on the inside of the liftgate for wagons. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Disconnect the two antenna module electrical connectors from the antenna grid and disconnect the antenna coaxial cable and electrical connector from the module.
