For 2015 and later models, remove the air filter housing to access the filter cover screws. Disconnect the IAT sensor if removing the top cover. For 2014 and earlier models, remove the locking clips and separate the housing halves to access the filter. Inspect the filter and replace if dirty. If moderately dusty, clean with compressed air. Do not wash or oil the filter. Clean the inside of the housing before placing the new filter. For 2015 and later models, reassemble the cover and housing, tightening screws securely. For 2014 and earlier models, reinstall the cover ensuring the clips are seated against the tabs.
