    Installation and Repair Tips
    Q:
What should you do with the Fuel Injector while the engine is idling for the 1995 Chrysler Cirrus? Posted by Customer
    A:
Disconnect each fuel injector electrical connector one at a time, noting the rpm change on the tachometer before reconnecting the injector. On V6 engines, this test applies only to the left bank of fuel injectors after removing the air inlet resonator.

    Q:
How do you install the new Fuel Injector for the 1993 Chrysler Imperial? Posted by Customer
    A:
Place new O-rings on the injector and a new O-ring on the injector cap. Coat the O-rings with a light film of engine oil. Insert the injector into the throttle body and place the injector cap onto it, aligning them properly. Rotate the cap and injector to line up the attachment hole, then tighten the screws securely. Reconnect the negative battery cable, start the engine, and check for leaks. Finally, turn off the engine and reinstall the air cleaner assembly.

    Q:
How do you replace a Fuel Injector for the 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan? Posted by Customer
    A:
Remove the fuel rail assembly and place the fuel rail assembly on a clean work surface so the fuel injectors are accessible. Remove the injector lock ring from the fuel rail and injector by prying it off with a small screwdriver. Pull the injector straight out of the receiver cup. Inspect the injector O-rings for damage. Replace them with new ones if necessary (Push the new O-ring over the tip of the injector and into the groove Insert a small screwdriver under the 0-ring and pry it off - be careful not to damage the injector tip). Prior to installation, lubricate the O-rings with a light film of clean engine oil. Push the top of the injector straight into the fuel rail receiver cup, taking care not to damage the O-ring. Slide the open end of the injector clip into the top slot of the injector, onto the receiver cup ridge and into the side slots of the clip. Install the fuel rail.
