    How do you proceed with removing the driveaxle hub nut and disconnecting various components, including the Steering Knuckle, during front driveaxle removal for the 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan? Posted by Customer

    After raising the vehicle, remove the driveaxle hub nut and washer. Push the driveaxle in until it's free of the hub, which may require tapping with a brass drift punch and hammer. Remove the cotter pin and nut, and use a puller to disconnect the tie-rod end from the steering knuckle. Secure the tie-rod aside with wire. Then, disconnect the brake hose bracket from the strut, remove the caliper and brake pads, and detach the caliper mounting bracket from the steering knuckle. Hang the caliper out of the way with wire.
